Default Older TRX carb adjustments

Have an older 1986 TRX125 with a 1981 110ATC motor in it (it was a freebie). Had to redo a lot of things on this machine and am just completing a top end overhaul. My questions are about setting idle mix screw and airflow screw. I only see one adjustment on this carb. It had sat for 10 years and with new gas, started on the first pull when I got it. But it backfires thru exhaust big time on deceleration and pick up could be better. Any advice is greatly appreciated and thanx in advance for any help.
(I think this has gotten into my blood)
Denny

Sounds to me like its runnin a little too lean. or maybe its out of time a little. I think you can adjust the mixture by movin your main needle in the carb up it should be in the middle of the slide and move the clip on the needle down one notch. Well at least thats how i had to do to my 200x carb. Hope this helps
