Since I started repairing my quad from when it was stolen, the wiring harness is trashed, the battery is crap, and because all of these parts cost alot of money to replace I was wondering if I could go another route to just use the kick start to start the engine. If I was to use the kick start do I need to have a wire that runs from the ignition coil to a battery or can I just leave that unplugged and just use the ground wire? The motor runs, just have to replace the clutch cable and the ignition coil.
