front sprocket question

Default front sprocket question

my chain snapped and was looking at the sprockets and the front sprocket has a lot of play so is it supposed to do that or is something wrong

The sprocket is wobbley on the shaft, or is the shaft itself wobbley???

Which quad???

the sprocket is wobbly and I have a 1999 300ex

the shaft moves in and out a little too

Default front sprocket question

I don't know about the shaft but the sprocket on my 400ex does wiggle a little bit, found that out when I changed mine. Mine has a plate that mounts onto the sprocket after the sprocket is installed.

i heard that the sprocket is supposed to wiggle a little
as far as the shaft goes im not so sure
