Larger valves, but that 12.1 piston should eat up my 10.25.1 pump gasser.

How do you like your Pro Circuit? I have had many pipes and I'm in need of a new one. You are the only one I know that has one. How does it compare to the others out there. Do you think it restricts the flow on your built 440.

you probably need to have someone bore the cylinder and install the sleeve.LRD,and IMS both are a little over $400 for everthing.

I'm pretty happy with the Pro Circuit. Supposedly White Bros. tested this head pipe with the R4 silencer and it put out more hp. than their Pro Meg head pipe.

What do you think of the lectron carb? Spent some trying my friends fcr41, not too impressed (especially for $500) When spring comes we are gonna mess with it more but right now he's ready to pawn it.

I like my Lectron a lot, and for $250 the price was right. I bought it from TC Racing and I called there just to ask about carbs and then he ended up selling me one. He said that compared to the FCR it has way more bottom end and mid range. The FCR just puts out more top end. The throttle pull is still the same not hard like the FCR.

The only bad thing about this carb is it is tough to dial in. Mine idles a little low, but I just give it a little gas when idling. I don't know if it was meant for the 400EX because when you install it you have to angle it a 75 degrees. But overall I think it is a great carb, it even has a choke. If you want to know more about it call TC Racing he will sell you in 5 min.

Tc racing's # is in the back of dirtwheels.

Definetly sounds like something i'll look into. Does it come with adapters to fit on your stock boots? Do you think 36 is big enough?

CT's boring & machine will do the 440 for about $350. They have an ad in the back of Dirt Wheels.
They did a quality job on mine and stand behind the work.

The carb will fit the stock boots, no adapters needed. I think 36mm is big enough, but I might try the 39mm FCR later on. If I were you I would call TC racing and Tom carlson the owner will give you all the comparisons between the 39mm FCR and the 36mm Lectron. Lectron carbs in general are well known for their great performance.
With either carb you choose it will help you Quad out tremendously.
