Default Need help with carb

Alright ive been breaking in my 400ex and i need to kno where all the adjusting screws are. My idling is off and i need to adjust it and my fuel

Default Need help with carb

Well as far as the idle is concerned on the 400ex its the big screw that sits underneath the float bowl. If you look at your carb from the lift side as if you were sitting on it looking at the choke lever you should see a big knurled **** with a slot cut for a flat blade screwdriver this is the idle speed screw, clockwise to increase idle RPM's and Counterclockwise to lower idle RPM's. As for the other adjustments, ive never went that far into tuning my carb but im sure recon would be able to help ya on that one.

Default Need help with carb

The idle mixture screw, is located on the underside, just forward of the float bowl. It only controls the mixture of the idle circuit.
