I bought a used '06 TRX90. I brought it home and now it won't turn over. It's a Christmas present and I need it to run this week. New battery, ran fine last week.

The battery should be fine on an 06...it's not that old. Did you leave the key on by mistake????

But....lots of folks have battery problems when the cold weather comes around!

Push start it and ride it a while and see if that perks the battery back up. If so, might want to try a charger on it, but most likely you will need a new battery.

Welcome to the forums Clueless101.

If there's an Auto Zone nearby, run the battery up there and have them test it. It's free, and shouldn't take them very long at all to check it.

A battery charger/tender may be a good Christmas present to yourself.

I meant that I just put a new battery in it last week. It shouldn't be that. It cranks, it just won't turn over.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: Clueless101it just won't turn over.</end quote></div>

To me, won't turn over means the starter is dead and won't crank the engine at all.

I think you are saying that you have a new battery and the engine turns over, but still doesn't catch and start (????). Is it in neutral? Is the kill switch in the middle (real common mistake!)? Are you using the choke??? Is the spark plug old?

Thanks everyone, found the choke, think I had it flooded, but all is good now. Runs great!

These engines are really cold blooded. I need to choke mine even at summer temperatures! Hope your kid enjoys.....
