i just bought a used honda foreman. i rode it all day with no problem but after i finished washing my honda off, i tryed to start it again and it would not work. It started and everything but when i went to shift up it would not move. I tried turning it on and off a lot a times. I have a hand shift. The neutral sign on my screen kept blinking. I have no idea what to do. Any tips

This is an ES??? The reason I ask is that "I have a hand shift", is a little confusing.

You probably got some electrical connectors wet and they are shorting out. I would use air to blow any connections out that I could find.

Did you use a pressure washer, or just hosed it off? Pressure washers can do alot of damage. It forces water past seals, and connections, to places that water shouldnt get too. Especially the buttons on the left handgrip area.
Its posible, that just letting it dry out, will make it work again. You may have to disassemble some connections, dry them out, and grease them up, with dielectric grease.
Is the nuetral indicator (green light on top of pod), flashing...or is it the N on the screen, doing the double dash (--)? Next time count the flashing. It should be a pattern, and its a code for whats wrong. Just key on...count the quick flashing, and there will be a pause, and then itll repeat.
