Default Tires

I have an 07 Rubicon, I use it mostely for hunting and playing in the Mountians. I've been looking at the Maxxis Bighorn tires to put on it. Anybody run those tires and if so how do the hold up in the rocks and snow, also hows the performance compared to the Mudlites?

Default Tires

I've been considering those on my Forman...

From what I've heard from chatting with other riders, Bighorns ride and handle very well in ordinary trail riding, they excel in solid or loose rock, wear well, and are very tough, are OK in snow and thicker mud, and not so hot in bottomless sand.

Everyone I've talked to who has Mudlite XTR's also seems to be happy with them. I would think they would do better in deep sticky mud and in sand, without as much vibration as a bias ply mud tire.

TerraCross radials might be somewhere in the middle, being more open looking than bighorns but not as aggressive as XTR's. One person I spoke to said they seem to wear faster, though.

I would guess any of those three would outperform the stock tires.
