i tore the top end apart so could see all the internals and everything looks tight except the gasket was a little tainted but notheing that really caught my eye i still have to check the valve seals. is there anything i should deffinately check before putting it back 2gether


p.s. the exhaust was only glowing on one side. ?

 

first off y did you pull it apart?? second if everything is fine, i would check the head for wear, like to see if its warped, or if the valve lashes are to specs. also look at your rockers. check to see if theres wear there.
