Default Honda rancher Es 4x4

I have my buddies 03 Honda rancher and his fan won't turn on I gave power to it with my powerprobe and it turns out fine, but was wondering if anyone could tell me where the rest of the harness connects to which connector and where it is grounded...thanks.

The oil temp sender is near where the foor shifter shaft exits the case. Try grounding out the wire going to the sender. This should kick the fan on. If not look at the CDI. There are 2 extra wires coming out of it besides the main connector. One of these could be unplugged. If everything checks out, the CDI will have to be replaced as it doubles as a fan controller also on the ES models only
