where are serial #'s for year
Happy new year all, I purchased a trx300 fourtrax 4x4 and cant find the serial numbers on the motor, I was told it is a 93 when I bought it, but bought a like new gas tank that is supposed to fit a 93-00 and it doesnt fit my frame, I have searched my manual and cant find it, any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Scott

Tenth digit of your VIN. The VIN is on the frame (not motor), up front. Can't recall where exactly on the 300, but the current Honda's have it on a flat crossbar behind the bumper.
