I just picked up a 250x last weekend. And it has a bunch of after market mods. One of which a keiln carb. But the throttle cable broke earlier this summer. So the guy just threw the stock carb back on. And hasn't ridden it till I went to pick it up. I'd like to get it back on before spring.

My question will a stock replacement throtle cable work with the larger carb? If not what will I have to get?

Also it has an older cobra exhaust thats all rusty and has seen better days. And its a bit loud for my taste. What exhaust can I get that won't hurt the ear drums by the end of a lond day's ride?
