400ex Help!!!!!!
#1
I rode my 400ex around yesterday and it ran fine. Today when I went out to start it when i pushed the starter it made a click then the neutral light went out and it wouldnt do anything. What do I do it still has a warranty. I know the battery was fine because when i turned the key the lights were bright and the neutral light was bright. Any help would be great.
Thanks

The problem you describe is indicative of a bad battery connection.
Remove both the positive and negative battery terminals, clean them, grease them and bolt them back down using loctite.
If you reach down and wiggle the terminals, chances are your lights will come back on.
On my bike I have done this a few times.
A couple of other things to watch if you like to get big air, are...
The solenoid in front of the battery likes to jump out of it's holder, take a wire-tie (tywrap) and secure it in place, if you don't it can eventually pinch the acutation wire against the frame and cause your bike not to start.
I have also had the negative battery cable break off at the terminal due to constant flexing from big jumps and rough terrain.
