I equate this question with my background in RC vehicles. Does the pull strart just save weight and offer a more reliable solution for starting? Or is there a greater reason such as increased performance?

thx

get they electric and save your back, anyway most all quads come with both

00' rancher4x2es, 1500lb winch w/ 50ft cable, 26x12 mudrunners on the rear, rhinolined rack

All the true racers know there is no substitute for a good (light weight ) KICKSTART!

When your machine works fine, the kickstart is the best. Light, simple, efficient. The recoil is pretty much painful on the shoulder. My buddy's 400 scram is hard to pullstart. Electric starter comes in handy in particular situations (stuck, very cold weather, you just crashed and your back hurts...).
My shee starts very well with the kickstarter...unless it's been sitting in water or something's wrong. My sled has some problem and is impossible to start once it's hot. I wish I had an electric starter.
