I am having problems starting my honda 2005 trx400. I recently charged the battery and went to start it up, the neutral light comes on and as soon as i press the ignition theres a clicking nosie the the neutral light goes off. Any ideas of what wrong. the battery is brand new too.

 

have u checked the connections , how about the fuse thats what was wrong with mine one time

 

Sounds like a low battery, or bad connection at the battery terminals. The only reliable test for a battery is a load test. If the connections look good, and the battery loads tests fine, then you could have a starter problem, ...but start with the battery test. Just because its new, doesnt mean its good.
