There have been quite a few threads lately about problems, but overall they are reliable machines.

You do enough (any) research on any vehicle/vintage ... You can always find problems.

Nothing in life is perfect ... Had/have problems with my 01' Rubi but still ride it with pride!

I own a 2001 Rubi, and the only thing I replaced so far is the choke coble, it was rusted, this quad is awsome.

I also have an 01, replaced both upper contol arm bushings, shafts and seals, left hand rear brake cable, and one rear wheel bearing, not bad for 8000 miles and 950 hours. It still has the original battery and the battery will start it today at below freezing temps.

Heck, for 8000 miles of the kind of terrain these things run in, I'd be happy as a clam to have only replaced some bushings, seals, one wheel bearing and a cable...

I am happy as a clam with our ATV. It's carried over 400 pounds for all those miles too and it still has the original brakes on it to.
