I advise against it. It's a heck of a lot of money and 400ex are known to be good solid machines. That kit will effect stability of it and not many people would want to buy it if you decide to sell. If it's not enough machine for you sell it as is and save for a bigger faster quad.
To answer you question as far as it being hard depends on you skill level with small engines. The fact that your asking if it will be hard insinuates that you don't know what it will take to do it. I don't know the details it will take but I do know that it will require a crank removal/install which means splitting the case I believe. That is about as nasty as it comes on small engines. So, if your half way familiar with small engines and, have done light-medium work on them and, you are patient and, up for learning new things go for it otherwise pay someone else.
