Default Necessary straps for out in the field

Hey Everyone,

I am placing an order through Cabela's and wanted your input.

Anyone have a rack extender? Cabela's has a really nice looking one.

Also, do you experienced ones carry a couple straps with you out in the field? Is one necessary? Or would you get more? Cabela's has a deal for the "delux" strap package with a bunch of odd's and end's of straps, and I am thinking if I just get the simple tree savor one I'd be set. Any reason to get the "delux"?

Thanks everyone,
Jeff

My thought is " Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it".
My wife claims I carry everything but the kitchen sink!

I was at a store that had the nylon tow ropes for cars. Not that I'd trust it to pull that much weight, but for 4 bucks, it works well for the quads. Not having 4wd may make me a little more careful about how deep the mud is before I go in, but never got so stuck the strap and another quad couldn't pull us out.
