Default HONDA ODDYSSEY FL250,NEED INFO PLEASE:

I BOUGHT SOME TIME A GO A HONDA FL250 ODDYSSEY, AND RECENTLY ,I REMOVED THE SPARK PLUG TO SEE WHAT WAS THE TYPE THE BUY MORE FOR REPLACEMENTS; AND THE ONE IN THERE AT THIS POINT IS A " BOSCH 145", MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS PLUG IS NOT THE ONE THAT HONDA RECOMENDS,AND IF I WILL LIKE TO GET THE SAME ONE BECAUSE IT WORKS GOOD, IS VERY HARD TO FIND.

THE ONE HONDA RECOMENDS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT; THE BOTTOM PART WICH IS THE METAL PART THAT GOES INSIDE THE CYLINDER HEAD AND MAKES CONTACT WITH THE PISTON,IS MUCH LONGER THAN THE BOSCH I HAVE ACTUALLY IN THERE,SO I'M AFFRAID IF I GET THE ONE RECOMENDED BY HONDA IT WOULD BE TOO LONG AND WILL DAMAGE THE PISTON AND CYLINDER HEAD.

ANY RECOMENDATIONS?

Well first find out if is indeed the stock 250 2-stroke engine, and if Honda actually recommended a different kind of spark plug for the engine, then its gotta be the one, and the piston never contacts the spark plug, it comes damn close, but its designed to make no contact at all, the piston comes up just enough to build the right amount of compression

I agree with Rocker_Ace. First make sure that you have the original 250 engine in there. Seems that a lot of the older Honda Odyssey had different engines put in there. If you do have the original Honda FL250 engine, then you could use a NGK BR9ES and that would be safe. That is the coldest plug NGK recommends for the Honda Odyssey FL250 models. Since the Odysseys tend to run hot with the engine behind the seat, the colder plug is probably the safest bet - regardless of exact model year. Also, there's some info here on modifying the: Honda Odyssey FL250. By the way, NGK also makes a iridium plug that is more resistant to fouling, and that can help on 2 stroke engines like the Honda Odyssey 250. Iridium plug is NGK BR9EIX. Spendy, but good for easier starts and less plug fouling.
