i have a 06 350 rancher i want to know if u can take the pull starter off and leave it off without water entering ur motor
what are the advantages and disadvantages of haveing a pull starter and not haveing a pull starter?
i can always push start it if battery dies

the problem with the honda recoils is that they are near the back bottom of the engine
they do leak in water and mud... slowly but most of the time surely.
you can always take off your recoil and install a recoil remove kit.
Highlifter sells such kits which covers the removed recoil pull.
personally i dont know what way is the better way to go

Almost all the auto clutch hondas wont give spark, unless it sees a nuetral light, so bump starting isnt posible unless you do the false neutral light. The sport quads...like 400ex 300ex, 450r can be bump started.
