wait a minute you mean the pin that holds the float needle? oh sure you can take it out, i thought you were talking about something else. yea that comes out no problem just make sure to watch how you took it apart

The pin I'm talking about is the one that the float actually hinges on. The one you would have to remove to take the float off. It looked like I would have to remove it in order to get to the little valve behind it that actually shuts the fuel flow off. Thought there might be some gunk up in there i might need to clean out.

I'm going to try the air trick first - that should do it.

yea try the air that almost always seems to fix it. yes that pin can be removed
