Honda TRX300EX

Can someone tell me the right top speed of a TRX300EX...I've heard around 60+, but i need the correct answer?

The last time I used my GPS and checked the speed on my son's '99 300ex, it was right at 54 mph on a long straight stretch.

yeah, 54-55. also depends on your rear tire size. 22x10x9 is factory and mine had 20x10x9 when it went 55. if you run the factory 22 then you may see 58-60

the 300 replaced the 250 in 1993. the 300 is 282 or 283cc. not sure what the cc is on the 250. it may be the same motor. with the new name

my 250x only ran 52mph, that was when it was bone stock, it now has a cobra system, jets, and vito air filter. it does 57mph now, or so a trail tech speedo tells me.
