Default Need Help-250x clutch

is there slack in between the clutch plates when everything is tight? If so, the back pressure plate needs to be turned until it fits tight. I have never had this problem with any clutch until I went to put a new one on my 97 warrior.

Is it a new clutch, or are the pressure plates worn out?

could be your problem, it could be shot, esp. if its a cheap aftermarket clutch that would have proabably been put in there

if your springs are shot it could cuase this, or if there not tightened down all the way.

go ahead and get new springs as well, becuase if they are shot it shouldn't diengage.
