The wheels aren't even boxed? Knowing UPS, they could really get damaged. I guess it must not be much of a problem or they wouldn't be doing it.</end quote></div>
Yes, I was shocked when the UPS driver rolled them off the truck. Two packages of two tires each, wrapped in that plastic wrap stuff, the side which faced down on the truck body completely worn off with visible scratches on the outside of the steel rim.
Needless to say if it wasn't for their 'free shipping over $99 policy' I'd would have been really upset. For a $650 order you would think they could have at least used cardboard boxes. I guess that is one way of reducing shipping costs, cut your shipping supplies and hope the items don't get returned due to shipping damages.

I'm wondering if Rocky Mountain ATV ships alloy wheels and tire sets the same way, just wrapped in plastic, anybody know?</end quote></div>
That is my question as well...being that it is the alloy set that I want. How long did it take to receive your wheels once you made the order?

If you order a set from them, call and mention the issues I had with their shipping procedures and that you are concerned the same could happen to a new set of alloys and tires. (poor shipping packaging, low tire pressure causing the bead to become un-set)

I will definitly do that. Are you using the low pressure tire gauge that came with the Rancher, or did you pick up an aftermarket one?</end quote></div>
I had to use the gauge from my Yamaha Bruin. Honda gauge only goes to 5 PSI if memory serves me correct. You'll need a gauge that can show correct pressure.
