Cost of value adjustment
#3
mine charges for two hours. Approx $230 with taxes. That is why I invested in a shop manual. Do it yourself and save $. Also manual will help with other routine maintenance, trouble shooting, etc. down the road. Will pay for itself after you do your first valve adjustment.

I know if you can't watch them do it then i would do it myself or find someone you would trust to do.I just had my hundred mile 20 hour service done and thats the most expensive oil change i ever had so next time me and the service manual will do it our selves.

Want to do the first 20 hour valve adjustment. Anyone know what the average cost to have it done is? Do people trust a local repair shop as they would a Honda dealer?</end quote></div>
Does it need the adjustment after 20 hrs?

Well, I didn't see in the manual that it needed it, but everyone else keeps saying to have the 20 hour adjustment done. I will go look through it again and see if I can find it in the service guide.

Yep....and $136 for an oil/filter change. No thanks.
I would kick my own *** if I found myself paying these prices. Profit is not a dirty word but gouging comes to mind quickly.
