does anybody no if you have to take the engine completely off to change this shift plate are can you keep it on i think read somewhere that somebody stood there 4 wheeler on the back tires to fix this part

We just stand them on the rear wheels & rack ...

Yep, it is ok to stand the rancher on its tail. Turn off the fuel and plug the overflow hose on the fuel cap.

my choke is stuck shut can not pull it out wont budge can anyone help me with this

I finally got every thing back together and its shifting now when i was tighting the bolts on the crankcase i broke one off into the crankcase there are 12 bolts will be alright without one are should i break it all back down and try to get it out and silicone it again and tighten the crankcase back down.
one more question how much oil does my rancher hold anybody no
