brother is letting me use his 01 trx350fm 4x4 rancher,it sat a couple of years,hard to crank got it running,couple days later noticed fuel running out of bowl and the exhaust out of the head was cherry red,tapped on the bowl to try and unstick the float,still leaks.is the needle stuck,should i rebuild the carb?also someone told be the timing could be off.any suggestions would be great

 

yes i would clean up the carb it sounds like it was running lean and you can melt the piston like that

 

my thoughts on the piston also,turned it off as soon as i saw the red,guess ill be rebuilding the carb
