how do u adjust your valves?

So.........???? This is on a '87 250X

take all the front plastic and gas tank off.line up the crankcase marks and ste it on top dead center.take off the valve vover adjustment.make sure the rocker arms have a little play in them.get a feeler gage and insert it just under the adjuster screw-on top of the valve-where the rocker arm hits the valve.make sure it fits snug-if not turn the adjuster until it does-put everything back together

Bermbanger- could I do this on my 200SX??...Is it the same thing, sure sounds like it.

yep i think.all quads adjust the same,right.well ask JRM.if you remember he said the sx was different.i've never tried on the sx
