taking apart diff now axle

Default taking apart diff now axle

i took the whole brake hub out and now im trying to fig out how the axle comes out any help would be appreciated

Default taking apart diff now axle

you take the front rear brake cable off then the foot brake cable off then disconnect the brake hub vent lines then you take the rear left tire off and axle. after that you hit the rear left axle pushing force to the right of the quad and the axle slides right out

so after the right side hub and brake pieces come off the axle will just slide out after i take the left wheel off or do i need to take the left side of the diff apart

just take the left hub off. pull out the cotter pin and then take off the wheel nut. after that just hit it with a hammer or kick it a few times and it slides right out. there are 8 bolts that take off the differential and you DO NOT need to touch any of them. hope i could help ypu

i got that part understood now i figured out that i took the brakes off but does the casing the brakes slide out of need to come off or do i just do what you said and it will just slide out with the casing still connected to the axle

so if what youre saying is the nug case is still bolted to the axle then you need to take them out. if you already have that done, just kick/ hit the driverside of the axle pushing it out the passenger side

how do i take the case off of the axle, the case that covered the brake shoes

i believe theres 6 14mm bolts that need to be tooken off. they should be very noticable
