Performance/HP gains?
#1
Hello,
Is there anything you can get/do that will give my 2001 TRX350 Fourtrax a little more power. or is it simply not even worth it? (Mine is the foot shift model if that matters) Any help/advice appreciated.
Thanks,

I originally did a K&N/w Outerwears and aftermarket muffler on my 350's, and it perked them up noticeabely....until I discovered the filter was passing dirt and had to go back to foam.
The muffler (I would go FMF PowerLine or PowerCore IV now) and a UNI air filter is what I would do, and maybe open up the airbox if you aren't into the wet much, and of course you will need a rejet. One problem however with the UNI filters is that you have to keep that restrictive stock wire canister that supports the filter.

Thanks. If I were to do a pipe and a re-jet, what kind of gains can expect to notice? Top end or off the line type gains? Right now, on a fire/dirt road flat I top out at about 77-80Kmh. Just wondering wht you got and where the power was after the above mentioned mods.
Thanks again!

Agreed. I'm just looking for a little more power an given a new atv just isn't in my budget, this will have to do...If I can get the pipe and jet kit at a good price I will get it done. Any recommendations online where to buy? FMF's website lists the FMF Powerline at 329...ouch...
Thanks again,
Thanks again,
