Default Honda Recon

A friend of mine has an 06 recon thats running pretty rough. Its making an awful racket and fuel is filling his air box. I checked the timing on it and apparantely its jumped time. Im figuring the timing chain has slack in it or the tensioner has gone bad. But im wondering what is the best way to get it back in time. Do you have to pull the clutches to change the tensioner? Anyone have any tips on getting it back in time and pulling the cluthes?

The centrifugal clutch has to be removed to service the tensioner .... Both clutches must be removed to change the cam chain .. When replacing the chain don't pull the cam out to far or the followers could fall inside the crankcase ..
