2 things come to mind to check.........
First, check the ground cable connection at the starter - often these get loose or corroded and won't let the electrical system work.
Second, in the battery compartment, there is a plug connector that your Pink and Red Wires from the battery go into - we have seen many times that the blades in the connectors get corroded and even rot off, giving you no power to the electrical system - in turn giving no power to the ignition system.

dang...........that was has me stumped. Surely someone can help?
Have you tried to jump it to assure your battery didn't short out? Also take the positive and negative cables and test them for continuity with a electric meter.
Could also take the wires off of the toggle switch and see if it starts with the wires touched together. I have seen many many toggle switches die internally.

Yeah I replaced mine twice already. Water gets in and they wear out quick, or the plate gets stuck and it just doesn't work anymore. It was same story. I started my bike, shut it off, never started again. I got a heavy duty one from radio shack this time, we'll see if it last a little longer.
