Default Stock 07 400ex tires

Hey guys Im new and havent had a chance to view much of the site yet but I have a question for you guys before I do. Does anyone know the depth of stock 400 tires? I think they are off a 07 450r but Im buying them for my 02 400ex from what I hear they are all the same. I have a set of whole shots with about 1/4 inch of tread left on em and the tires Im looking to buy are stock tires with about 3/8" tread left on them. I just need to know like what percentage that would be and or specs so I can compare how much tread has been worn off. Thanx

Edit: Im looking to buy all four tires

It depends on what type of terrain you ride on, and 3/8 tread depth is not that much. Razzors do not come with 2 inches of tread. You are getting roughly 50% tread life out of those tires. My brand new ITP holeshots have less than 1 inch tread depth and I have only run them at the track once (2 heats and that is it). They are 95% or better based on stock tread depth (in fact they barely removed the **** that come on new tires, they were raced in a sandy / muddy condition since the track jumps a creek). You will not see much more than 1 inch tread depth on stock tires, or aftermarket tires for a racing style ATV (yes the 400EX is still considered a racing style bike). The tires that are often run on these bikes or Maxxis Razzor's or ITP Holeshots, and both have limited tread depth considering that they are smaller tires (18 inch usually on rear). The manufacturers don't give you a lot of tread depth because they are racing tires and they make money if you have to purchase new tires sooner.
