no it hasent been sitting for a long time. all that red stuff u see on the filter in the oil u put on the filter.

Agreed. Make sure you are checking it after the machine has ran for 4-5 minutes and sat for 2.
If it's above the mark, drain some out, and see if that solves the problem. If the oil is high enough to contact the crank, it would spray it everywhere, including out the breather...
