The beauty of the little Recon is that it is light and agile. Load it down with some oversize tires, and you are messing with perfection!

 

23 lb is probably too much, yes. Thats is more than some 26-inch tires would go. What specifically are you looking at?

Those are ITP MaxTrax, which they don't make anymore, cause they were pretty much designed to fit the odd tire sizes on the Fourtraxx 300FW's (24" rear, 23" up front). Now the 300FW's are gone, they stopped making the tire around '04. I was lucky enough to find a dealer that had a full set.

I have great faith in ITP products.

22x11x9 should fit just fine.
