I tried posting this in the performance mod thread a few weeks ago and didnt get any helpful responses. I got a twin air air filter for my 2001 400EX. I was just wondering if i need to run the air filter body, or the cage that goes inside of the stock filter on the twin air. I tried to get it in and i couldn't get it to fit. It also has a hole in the back where the air filter body is supposed to connect to. Any help would be appreciated.

 

yes you need to run the cage and it does fit but its a pain getting on
