Buddy's got a '89 2x4 300 we're trying to revive, has crazy low hours, apparently his Dad parked it not long after he bought it because he had problems with it charging the battery. So we rebuilt the carb, cleaned it up some, ran like a champ, let it sit overnight, now we're not getting a spark. Changed coil, plug (of course), and CDI box, now buddy's trying to back out because of rising cost, although I'm trying to talk him out of it, that thing is a gem. I know that rectifiers, regulators, and stators can be mad expensive, so what should our next logical choice be? I found lots of bad wiring, but swapped it all out before we got it running, even went with new fusible links. Can't figure it out...
