Default 2001 rubicon code 5

I have changed the ECM, angle sensor, and the display and found one broke wire going to voltage regulator after rolling the atv. It flashes a code 5 and i dont know what else to do I checked every thing but the shift motor and I can hear it working when i try to do initialization. But it still stays in limp mode and flashes a number 5 code. I have the whole body off and the rest of wiring looks good.

Any help would be greatfull
Thanks

Code #5 is angle sensor "motor lock" code .. I would first remove the shift control motor and inside the hole the shift motor came from is the Hondamatic reduction gears try turning the reduction gears with your finger the small gear should turn freely..

What if the reduction gear doesn't turn. I'm pretty sure I'm on it is it the gear that if I'm looking in the hole is on the right.

You may have to break it free with a small screwdriver ..

If I put any more force on it I'm going to snap a tooth do you have any other suggestions. Also I have the battery unhooked and the tires on the ground.

Thanks for all your help

Every time I try to initialize the system the gear behind the shift motor keeps locking up and I have to take the shift motor out and free it up with screw drive.
