Default Another which quad should I get question

bump. need to make a decision by this weekend (3.99%, bonus bucks). going camping and want to bring my new quad. I know I can't go wrong with the Rancher, but is there anyone that bought the Rincon that wish they would have gotten a different quad?

Only when its time to make their payment. Still great deals on 07 Ranchers, those Bonus Bucks seem to go much farther when your not going top of the line.

isn't that the truth. Now leaning towards the Rancher with the hope that next year Honda will come out w/an ATV that has a locker, low range and IRS.
Tomorrow will probably be different. :-)

I'm happy with my Rincon. The suspension is really well dialed in, and really shines when riding fast over rough conditions. As noted above, it doens't have much for compression braking below about 10 mph, so you do have to expect to use the brakes on steep and technical decents.

I guess my advice would be to get a real test ride on a Rincon, a Rancher, and maybe a Foreman (or Rubicon if you prefer an auto), and pick the one that fits your personal preferences best...

How does the Rincon hold up in snow?

It does as well as anything... Probably a little better than my Foreman, due to having a bit more ground clearance.

The last time I was in snow, it was like 4' deep, and I was riding with a group that included a 650 Rincon, an outlander max, and a Rubicon. The 680 did pretty well, but it was warm enough that all of us would occasionally break through the crust, and then it would be winch time...

The following day, just me and the 650 ran the same trail, this time just after dawn when it was colder, and neither of us got stuck once.
