Default 02 400EX trouble

Ok, so this past weekend I went to the dunes in Silverlake, Mi and when I was going up a hill or drag racing once in a while it would act like it was running outta gas, but I had a full tank...does anyone know what this could be or has anyone had it happen to them?
People have told me to try different exhaust, jetting, filters, clean/adjust carb, etc.
Anyone else have any recommendations?
Let me know,
Thanks
Dan

If you have the manual it shouldn't be to hard after the first couple times you adjust them.

Not always, it's a a regular maintenance issue, if you have never done it before it would be good to go in there now and check them out. Easy job, maybe 20 - 30 minutes, depends on how fast you are at getting the tank moved out of the way. Theres a good article with pictures on exriders. You just need a set of feeler gauges. Got mine for like 5 bucks at auto parts store.
