i heard i can switch my 2004 recon to look like a 2004 250EX i know i'll need all new plastic,fender braces,seat, and headlight. i don't know if the tanks are the same if any body knows if this can be done let me know i've looked at the specs for both of them from 2004 and they appear to be indentical and i've looked at numerous pictures and compared them to my recon where all the body mounts and from what i can tell they are the same if any body has any info it would be great

The Recon and the 250EX are the same machine, just with different plastic.

 

You are going to have to get the two side by side, and see if the tabs are going to line up....

The frames are both pretty similar but you will have to check to see if the 250ex bumper will fit your Recon un less you don't put one on.
