Why do you want a kick start?

i want a kickstart because they are more reliable.. and it is lighter for racing...

 

The only 400 with kick start I've heard of was an xr400 motor adapted to an ex frame. A lot of work for a pound or 2. Skip breakfast the day of a race! As for the cams, Stage1 gets you more mid and top range. Not recommended for big bores over 426. Stage 2 buys you a little more top end than 1 with some midrange gain.

 

I would run a stronger cam chain too.

 

lol.. but yea i think ill get stage 2 will it work on a stock motor?

 

stage 2 would work on a stock motor, but you wouldnt get as much power out of it because u dont have the mods to go with it.
