My Projection of the 2000 Hondas:

Honda Foreman 500A, Hyraulic drive auto-tranny, IRS (independent rear suspension), low-range, liquid-cooling.

Honda 300 4x4, Recon like design, transverse mounted engine, to replace the ageing TRX3004x4.

Honda 4x4 sport model, maybe a 400EX top end on a new bottom-end, maybe a larger displacement.

These are again, just my opinions based on what I have read/heard/feel. In no way are these facts.

What do you think the new Hondas will be???

Note: I would almost bet money on the 500 Foreman I mentioned above!!! Check the next ATV Action mag. to find out.

Sincerely,

Larry R.

All new Honda Foreman 400. More sporty.
All new Honda Foreman 400 Automatic.
All new Honda Foreman 550ES & S. With On-Demand true 4WD.
All new Honda Fourtrax 350 4X4 Sport/Utility.

That is what i would like to see.
I would most like to see the Automatic 400 and the 550.

Michael.

I think Honda needs to introduce a Wolverine-like machine. Great sport utlity that some people buy just for utility, and some just for sport. What other machine do you see racing cross-country as well as running big Vampires, and doing both at least decently?

I see Honda making these quads:

600ex sport 2wd and a 4wd version

400ex with on command 4wd

Foreman 600 with on command 4wd and independent rear suspension.

Foreman 300 redesigned with Recon type frame and suspension.

These are just my opinions of what honda might do.

The only thing that I would make a bet with someone on would be a wolverine type sport/utility 4x4. You never know though. Honda could throw us for a loop and pop out a new kids quad. They ought to put out a new 250R. That would boost the sales back to #1 real quick.
