Help,

My friend was riding my Recon when he pulled a corner too tight and flipped my baby. Of the many small damages, the most apparent one was the axle being bent. I want to know where I could find a good aftermarket axle. I was looking at a Lonestar Eliminator and I think that may work nice for me.

Also, I was wondering how do I take the racks off. I saw one in the desert without racks and I think it looks sweet.

zeebo, lay off. Your best bet, RedRider, would be to get the Honda axle made for it. There isn't an aftermarket one out there for it yet, for all i know. I would think that by summer, someone will have one out that will fit the 250EX, and you could get that for the recon if you wanted to wait that long. Hope I could help.

Sorry,
I was misinformed by a magazine advertising the axle. It stated that it was made for ALL HONDA ATVs. Apparently that was wrong so write know I think it is FALSE ADVERTISING. Currently I have ordered a custom made axle for a replacement.

I know this sounds strange but I bent an axel on a warror 4 years ago and I took it to a local tool and die shop and they straightend it for $20 and it was as good as new. I would check with a local tool shop and see if they would try it...
a lot of times the small shops have a little extra time and they can do wonders.
