could someone please measure the length and diameter of your stock 450r muffler, I'm thinking of converting one to fit on my xr.

thanks

I assume you mean the stock exhaust? Pretty sure I threw mine away since the previous owner either backed into something or was run into by another bike, and crushed the end of it pretty bad. That and I have absolutely no intentions of placing the stock exhaust on my bike. I can find out for you tomorrow evening though since a bunch of my friends race 450R's and have the stock stuff lying in the attic in one of my buddies garages.

That stocker is huge! I don't think I would want it hanging from a dirt bike....

man, sorry it took so long, been busy! But here they are:

Start of muffler (where cylinder starts, not the connecting piece to the headpipe) to the start of endcap - 17 inches

Start of muffler to the end of the endcap - 17, 13/16 inches

Diameter of Muffler - 4, 12/16 inches

First of muffler to where headpipe connects (this curves left some) - 3, 5/16 inches

Headpipe diameter - 1, 7/16 inches

Headpipe out of the engine to where the 180degree turn is at it's further point outward - 3, 14/16 inches

Max length from furthest point outward to where the headpipe connects to the muffler - 22 inches (this is not dead exact, I couldn't get it dead exact with the exhaust system on the 450, but it is pretty close.)
