Hey i just got back into riding again. I went with the 400ex dude to the trail riding I do, and the jumps i love hiting. Im looking to gain alittle more speed and power while keeping it a good trail riding quad.
Its a 08 white 400ex, and so far I have only bought a pair of black AC nurfbars. I'm looking to pipe it out and other opinions you may have gaining a little more speed.

What pipes out there sound good and run the best. Mainly i been sticking to youtube to check out the sounds of a few.

well fmf sounds and performs well and hmf and alien, there is so many but for you a fmf q2 or Q4 whatever is prob the best because its good for trail riding

 

Which of these pipes has the best performance and have you or anyone got into the AC racing pipe?

 

get a full yoshi

 

A full yoshi is going to cost a pretty penny for just to sound good. Look around for a fmf PC4, friend had one and sounded great.(maybe a little loud though)

 

I have an 02' with a FMF PowerCore 4....sounds great, not too loud, more performance....and just a slip-on....doesn't get any better than that.....

i gotta powercore 4 on mine and they are awsome. are looking into getting full system. and check dmc's website they got some kicka$$ pipes. o and you should get stage two rev limiter, k&n or bmc air filter, and a jetting kit.

 

i got a 2000 400ex and put a LTE dual exhaust on it sounds great and performs great comes with a new air box that the battery and everything fits into gained more off the line torque

 

See my set up below. It did wonders. I noticed alot of improvement on the trail and at the track, sounds awesome as well.
