Default Works Shocks

I have a 400ex with Works Shocks on the front. I have noticed that the they sag quite a bit when its just sitting there. You can lift up the front end about 2 inches before the wheels start coming off the ground. Also, when you push up and down on the front, the shocks make a funny sound.

So, are these worn out, and if they are, how should i go about fixing them if its possible?

Default Works Shocks

I have Works on my 400EX, and they are absolutely superb units!

If you aren't happy with the amount of sag, why don't you adjust them (tighten the springs)??? You have to take the load off the spring (best if you have a spring tool), then lower the collar. Sag in front, should be about 1/4 of the total shock travel, and about 1/3 of travel in the rear.

If you feel they need to be serviced, Works will do them for a nominal fee. Give them a call!
