What you going to do with it???
The 660 is narrow and carries its weight kind of high in the frame. This makes it a bit on the tippy side. Sure, it's a torque monster down low, but that will never make up for weird handling. Just like the Warrior, this is a quad that Yamaha just never got quite right!
The 400EX is the best all time tight trail quad. It has an engine that will lug down. I can put mine in 1st gear and idle through nasty technical sections, at a walking pace. Has descent power on top with a few mods. Good handling machine!
The Z400 likes to rev more than the EX, and doesn't like to lug down. I like the Z for more open faster trails and wide open country. Good handling machine!

wat do you mean lug down?
o and you forgot the yfz400!</end quote></div>
There is no YFZ400....unless there is a new one for 2009??? (Niche that the Raptor 350 just does not fill!)
"Lug down" means that the engine does not mind being run at low RPM. The 450's for example have to be ridden reved out. That means you have to use the clutch when you are in the slow more technical stuff, and that gets real old really fast.

It's easier to sell warriors when their only competition for 10 years is a 300ex. YFZ is kind of in a different class compared to these machines. These are designed to be trail quads, the yfz is not.
The 400ex and z handle great and it'll take a lot of money into the 660's suspension to get them to handle as well as a stock 400. If you value handling over power get the 400ex. If you want a compromise get a z400 and rev the crap out of it.
