Whats up! Im gonna be picking up my new 07 rancher 4x4/es atv monday. It will be my first atv that i own. My friend just bought the rincon, thats a beast! Im so exited! Can't wait to do mods to it! Any suggestions on what i should start out with first?

I'm happy for you and a good choice I've owned a 2wheel drive since 2000 believe it or not it is all factory except more aggrassive tires. Battery is the origin and so is the brake and everything else. This truely is a more work oriented machine there are a few pump ups such as a jet kit probably a silencer really not sure on that one but all I did was adjust the fuel screw under the front of the carb to get alittle better mixture down on the low end if your is efi none of the above will pertane to your rancher. Biggest up grade will be tires!! I just awell built work horse. if you are lookin for something lighter and more acceptable to upgrades you may want to search around alittle. Enjoy the bike for what it is and it won't fail you unless you fail to give it plenty of care.

 

I think the main thing to get right off the bat is a winch. It helped me a few times already. I really didn't think I needed one, but am soooo glad the dealer threw in one for me. Very thankful for one

its a left over from 07 but new. Why? should i get an 08? Yea i can't wait to ride it.

 

Well I sure couldn't see paying $500 more for the 08 for just color choice as all other items were the same as the 07.

ok cool.. and for the winch which is the beat place to buy it from i seen like 50 on ebay from 110 bucks and up. and what size also?

 

Go WARN! If you buy one of those off brands for $100, you will regret it. There's a reason warn leads the industry in winches. I personally have a Warn RT25, and love it. Spend the extra money and do it right the first time or you'll be swearing at yourself(and your winch) when it breaks rack deep in a mud hole.....
