I have an 05 450r quad and it ran yesterday and now im not getting fire to the plug, the front lights and the fan have not worked for a while as long as i know, i just bought it frm a buddy.HELP an suggestions would be appreciated

 

Check for a blown fuse.......

 

The front lights may be burned out or it may be a fuse.
It's tough to tell when the fan is on since you can't hear it when the engine is running.
The only time I can tell when the fan comes on is when I am down at the dunes and riding with the zip off lower legs of my riding pants. I can feel the heat being blown on my legs from the fan. Otherwise, I have never noticed when the fan has come on.

 

where would the fuses be i can check for the lights and the fan....If the stator was bad then i wouldn have any fire right?

 

Look for fuses under the hood.
Let the quad idle for quite awhile and the fan should come on.

 

i looked briefly under the hood and followed the wires from the lights the all ran to connections never saw a fuse in-line or box
